Can't help with your question but someone here should be able to. Just wanted to say hi and welcome you to the Pool Forum!
I recently purchased a Intex 15x48 Metal frame pool. My backyard is mostly concrete so the bottom is level. I went to Home Depot and picked up 2 heavy duty tarps. The ground cloth and the rope was not included in my package. Set up was easy enough and I checked each upright 3 times with a 4 ft level as a hose was filling the pool. I left the water running overnight and when I awoke the pool was just about filled, but the uprights were not longer straight. They had moved away and the bottom looked more like an Easy Set with a caldron bottom. My question is this something I should be concerned about? If so what would you suggest? I want my family to enjoy the pool and I want to remain friendly with my neighbors. Also any idea what the approximate life expectancy is on this type of pool. Thank you for any info.

I think the life expectancy of that pool with out the restraining rope is days. I looked at the manual for this pool, I realize it says the rope is optional, it's optional for the 10' and 12' pools. The Easy Set pools walls are much stronger so letting it stay like this is probably a very bad idea.
Better drain it before it drains itself!
