Default NorCal Newbie looking to put in an AG Pool

    Hello!

I'm hoping to put in an above ground pool within the next 3 weeks or so. I like the look of the soft sided models best. Contenders so far are a Tuff Pool from a local store or a Legacy Pool through Arthur's Pools.

I want a Sand Filter and Salt Chlorine Generator, and would love brand recommendations on the latter.

Also, would love to read about folks that have owned a Tuff Pool or Legacy.

    Thanks!
    Chris

What else do I need to do to get started in the forum? Would love to start searching for my own answers from previous thread, but I currently don't have permission.

    Thanks.

If you log out, you will be able to search. Use the search link in my signature below. It is much more useful than the forum software's search feature. I'm sorry you haven't gotten a reply to your question yet. Hopefully somebody will have some opinions to share with you. Welcome to the Pool Forum!

Thanks Watermom! I'm excited to get started, learn about the BBB Method and begin enjoying a pool with my kids.

Just wanted to point out that having a SWCG will void most AG pool warranties, so check that out before you spend the money....

Thanks aylad. Interesting that Arthur's Pools offers SWCGs at an additional cost, but the sales folks never mentioned the effect to the warranty.

My apologies if you've tried to post, but couldn't -- I upgraded your membership, but failed to move your post. You have access now.
