I point mine downward and to the right, to make the water circulate around the pool,
It also moves the dirt to the center of the pool for easy vacuuming.
Where do you point the return eyeball in a round AGP? The installers point it straight out, and someone else suggested straight down. Someone else mentioned down and counterclockwise. What do YOU do? And why, please?

mine is angled down and away from the skimmer opening
for exactly the reasons haze said "make the water circulate around the pool,

ditto......
What if you have two on opposite sides of the pool? Point both of them down and counter clockwise?
33 round ABG
yes!
you want them pointing in the same direction so they are working together not against one another.

If I have a lot of debris floating on the surface of the water, I point the eyeball up so that it moves the stuff into the skimmer better.
Thanks for replies. All of you down-and-to-the-right pointers: don't you find that the whirlpooling water makes the debris on the surface sail past the skimmer, though?
no problems with the eyeball aimed that way, my skimmer still catches lots of stuff, and the fine stuff to vac out is all right in the middle.
