Main drain pain
When the guy replaced our 2 return lines, in-wall vac line & valves, he bypassed my main drain. I had told him earlier in the day that a diver had determmined there was a slight leak last year and had plugged it with a main drain winter plug. When the guy was done with my lines, I realized he had bypassed the main drain. He said since it was leaking and now plugged, I shouldn't be bothered with it. I am a little irritated by this. Was there a better solution than him taking it upon himself to do this? I told him I want him back to replace it (and at the same time have him install a multi-port valve, which our system has never had. Who's right? What are my - and his - options?
