Blue Pearl

I just opened my pool, green as a swamp. Got the bleach going, just wondering when I should put my new blue pearl in? Should I wait until it clears up some? Thanks.

I'm assuming the Blue Pearl is some type of automatic cleaner? I wouldn't worry about it for awhile. Scoop out as much debris as you can with a net. Keep your chlorine at shock levels (based on your CYA reading --- See the Best Guess Chlorine Chart in my signature below) to kill the algae. Run your pump 24/7 while trying to clear the pool.
