Last year I filled the pool, added chemicals got brown water and had a rough summer and a lot of money. I think we had a 4 page discussion about all my problems. Trying not to have as many problems this year.

Getting ready to fill my pool up with stream/creek water again, I know it has iron and/or copper in it, what is the first thing that I should put in it?? Algeacide (best kind??) and Some type of Metal out (best kind??)

before i add any bleach or chlor tabs that turned my water brown last year, just want to be sure I have anything else I need first. Thanks
