Default Under liner seating and steps

New to the forum, but very happy I found it. To make a long story short, I have a 1950's all concrete 16X32 inground pool that I'm in the process of restoring. The pool had a liner that I have now removed, and will replace. However, I would like to install some under liner steps and seating. Anyone know of any under liner steps and seating providers out there?

The way I see it, I can either find some pre-fabricated seating and steps, or have them fabricated out of stainless steel locally, or have the steps and seating constructed via poured concrete--any thoughts, recommendations, or experience?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jamie,
Afraid I can't help you with your question, but just wanted to say hi and welcome you to the Pool Forum! Hopefully someone else will have some ideas for you.

    Welcome to the Forum!

If you're looking for a name brand, the only one I know is Cardinal. If you can get them fabricated locally, that is certainly worth looking into. These are steel steps and benches. I've retro installed a number of their steps into steel walled liner pools and they work out very well (* as long as the installer pays attention to detail!)

I've also, many years ago, retro'd in 'crete steps for use in plastered pools.

Whichever way you go, you WILL need to have a custom liner made to properly fit the pool (guess what... I've also had to do the measurements to send to the liner manufacturer )

I can help you with this project, but need to know exactly what you need to know and which way you'll be doing the stairs and bench.
