Fence extension + a Roller?

Need some help, I have an above ground pool with the fence extensions all around (~2 feet high). How can I use a solar blanket with a roller in this scenario? The fence extensions would rip the solar blanket if it doesn't clear it. Does anyone have this type of setup, what did you do, and do you have any pics
