Trichlor Pucks & CYA

I too want to know how much one puck will add to my CYA in my 14,000 gal pool. Anyone have a clue how to calculate that?

Somewhere on this site I remember reading a post that said each 3 inch puck contained 3 1/2 ounces of CYA.
I'd guess this is a good estiamte but each product could be somewhat different.
