Compool CP3400 stays on 24/7

My compool wont shut off. If I am at the box out by the pool and I press the top button to put it in service mode, the light goes from green to red as usual but the pump keeps running. If I press the pump button(In service mode) the light come on but the pump keeps running(actually that should turn the pump on anyway but I'm pressing buttons trying to make the pump shut off.) I have the control panel inside programmed to shut off after 8 hours but it runs 24/7. At the outside panel , the only way to shut it of is the breakers at the bottom.

Before I call the pool guys to come look at it I wanted to know if it might be a do it yourself fix. Thanks for the help.

Turned out to be a relay. Pool guy came out and tapped one of the relays and it was fixed. He suggested I wait a while before buying a new one to see if it happens again. No charge!

Sorry you didn't get a reply. Asking about a very specific piece of equipment limits the number of people who have knowledge to share. Plus, the forum is slow at this time of the year.
