Is it a air button (one that's soft and/or feels squishy when pressed)? sometimes you have to push these a couple times in a row to get the pressure high enough.
I have a spa bathtub and when I press the button to shut off the spa nothing happens, it's really hard to get to the motor. Is there a fix to this problem? Thanks

No it's a hard button. I pressed it several times fast and slow and nothing happens.
I'm afraid I don't know how those work. You might have better luck on a plumbing or DIY site, most of the expetise here is about pools.
