Default What to run at night with the pump.

I have the pop up style cleaning heads in my pool. They run every night with the pump on the timer. Should I have anything else turned on with them? For example, the aerator, or the return lines? If not, then what are they for?
    Thanks,
    Charles

I have no personal experience with pop-up cleaning heads. Some others here do, but it would help if you could ID the brand and make of your system. There is considerable variation from one type to another.

You may also need to describe your piping system. It sounds like your cleaning heads are on a separate piping system from the normal pool returns?
