Default First year with plastic pool steps

    Hello,

We have an inground pool that has no built in steps. This year we bought the "Grand Entrance" plastic pool steps and I'm not quite sure what to do when we close the pool this year. I don't think that lifting these steps out of the pool will be easy to say the least and a friend mentioned just letting them sink in the deep end and leave them there. Sounds like a good idea, but I was wondering what people normally do with these?

    Thanks.

I have an AG pool with plastic steps (not a ladder). I lift mine out and drain them and leave them on the deck during the winter. Do you have a liner pool? If you drop them into the deep in and have a liner, I wonder about dragging them across a liner in the spring to get them back to the shallow end to set up.

BTW -- Welcome to the Pool Forum.
