    you think I should go to 25ppm? that was a range someone suggested but I was nervous about going that high. nervous that the chlorine will take forever to come back down naturally after(hopefully)it clears. oh well back to walmart to pick up some more bleach.

    Search on the forum for Ben's "best guess" chart. That will give you a little confidence. Your Cl starts coming down immediately...how much and how fast depends on what "bugs" are in your pool.

    Double check that gallonage.
