Along the same question as the one I had about a sun shelf umbrella....

I'd like to have a chair to place in my pool's sun shelf, something low-to-the-ground, so I'm close to the water. Home Depot sells a cheap addirondack-style plastic chair for $20 or $30. Is a chair like that -- made of plastic -- okay to use in a pool that is plastered with a Diamond Brite finish? I'm wary about placing a chair in the sun shelf that would wear away or chip the Diamond Brite plaster. I don't know how durable that Diamond Brite surface is, but if it gets chipped or cracked, there's not much I can do about it. So, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Thoughts?
