Default Padding w/ an expandable liner?

    Hi All,

Brand new to this forum, I've lurked for several hours and the wealth of information is amazing!!

We are considering buying a used Doughboy 48" 16x32 oval pool. It is presently dismantled and
we will be doing most of the installation ourselves (w/ the exception of excavating/heavy machinery)
to save on costs. We'll be buying a new liner and we'd like to have a deep end.

I would like to protect the new liner as much as possible but I've been getting conflicting stories on
whether or not it is possible to add a liner padding (gorrilla pad etc.) w/ an expandable liner?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
