Hello everyone! I'm glad to find this forum!! My better half and I have decided we want a pool. Neither of us have ever had pools so we are thinking a AGP may make the dive into pool ownership a little easier on us. We agreed that we didn't want to spend a ton of money before we experimented a little to see 1. If we can handle the maintenance needed, keep the water adjusted correctly, and 2. make sure we will use the pool and enjoy it on a regular basis. So I've started doing my homework. Right now I'm considering a Intex Round Metal Frame 24 that is 52 deep. And I've got a couple of questions. First off, how deep can you have the water in this pool? The ad I'm looking at states the pool will hold 12,481 gals of water. When hubby computed it out, he came up with a different figure. Our concern is that a 52 deep may only be say 44 or so inches deep. Can any of you let me know how high I can actually fill the pool? Second off the ad I'm looking at for this same pool also has a 2500 Gal Filter Pump. This appears that the pool I'm looking at is not a complete filter system from my very limited knowledge. Can anyone advise if I need another piece or if this is sufficient for the pool? I'll stop there, but I've got tons more questions. Thanks in advance for all your advice, I can tell from my reading this forum has a wealth of pool knowledge!
