    Default Buried Pipe

My new 12x24 AGP is installed and filling. Now to connect the pump and filter.

I'm putting the pump / filter about 10 feet away from the pool next to the house. I plan to run 1 1/2" sch 40 PVC lines between the pool and the pump / filter pad.

How (and how deep) do I bury the lines?

One way or another you will probably have to drain them for the winter. No reason to bury them deep, maybe 6" or so should be fine. If there is any slope then make it so you can break the connection at that end and snake a small hose hooked to a shop vac to suck it dry. Recently did that for someone with a solar heater and the runs were probably 25 feet.

Thanks, makes sense. I plan to blow the lines out with the shop vac and cap them in the winter.
