I have a 50000 gal IG gunite pool with a built in floor cleaner system. The pool has an automatic cover, but it still gets debris in it - we are in the forest. I find that the in floor system doesn't do a very good job, especially since I got DE powder in the pool ;( I just can't get all the DE powder out - I let it sediment out and vacuum it up but the next day it is back. The in floor system just seems to kick up the powder. SO - I am considering a robotic pool cleaner, mainly for the 2micron added filtration but the overall pool cleaning. Any comments or suggestions?

The pool has a DE filter which I have backwashed thoroughly and recharged, but still won't eliminate the powder. I haven't taken the filter apart to look for tears, but I don't think there are any. The DE powder got in the pool from a mis-positioned valve during a recharge. The water is crystal clear after a number of hours with the floor system off. The chemistry is good and has been stable. Any ideas?
