Well if it were to be rekool decked wherever u say there is no more height there actually is. The way to fix that is to use a grinder and grind down the deck maybe 1/2 or less due to the fact that Kool deck is a very thin textured finish. And as far as the water used then i would say that is a homeowner fault because technically speaking if u say no stepping on until tomorrow it means nothing is to go onto the surface. With that statement being said i don't think one needs to be so specific about what you can and can't put on the deck ex: pool furniture. Hope this helps
