    Default TA or Adjusted TA

In using the K 2006 test kit the guide talks about using cyanuric acid correction to total alkalinity. When we post test results do you need the total alkalinity to be adjusted or just as tested?

Default Re: TA or Adjusted TA

The TA adjustment works out to be about 1/4 to 1/3 the CYA meaurement (depending on pH) so unless your CYA is well above 100 ppm the difference in TA readings between the adjusted and raw will usually be LESS than the precision of the test itself or, at worst, about 10 ppm off.
