    Default Sand Filter Question

Does anyone know how many pounds of sand an old Pac-Fab PF-50 sand filter holds? I'm thinking it is 200lbs but I can't find it anywhere on the internet. I can find parts and schematics but not the specifications. Thanks.

200lbs sounds about right .... You might want to contact poolsupplyworld.com and ask .. they are very helpful and sell Pentair products.
14'x31' kidney 21K gal IG plaster pool; SWCG (Saline Generating System's SGS Breeze); Pentair FNS Plus 48 DE DE filter; Whisperflow 1 HP pump; 8 hours hrs; kit purchased from Ben; utility water; summer: none; winter: none; PF:5.7

Thanks for the reply....I just got back from the local pool store. They knew and 200lbs is correct. I bought my sand for $8.95 per 50lb bag from them and two used laterals for $5 for the pair. I had two that had a crack in them. All the old, yucky sand is history, and I should be running sometime tonight.
