    Default Haboob

You can assume what my pool looks like today

This thing was 70 miles wide and 2 miles tall moving at 40 mph with 60 mph wind gust ... I hear it hit national news.

My filter is going to get a workout... I had plans to do the annual tear down and grid cleaning this weekend anyway

Getting it cleaned up.. I plan to add enough bleach to keep it at shock levels for a couple days just as a preventive measure.

I saw it on the news here in FL. Must have been freaky! Looked like something out of a movie such as Independence Day on the video.

    Good luck with the cleanup!

Yeah, I was thinking about your pools down there. They must be mud pits. What a mess! We didn't get any reports of injuries, that's a good thing, but the vids I saw on You Tube, my goodness!

No worries people ... it's a nuisance as far as the pool goes but not a real big deal as far as health issues... people have been ranting about valley fever but the medical community is not concerned .. if you live in the desert you're going to be exposed. Haboob or no Haboob.

What we need is a real good rain storm to wash all the dirt away. My hood looks like a town in Iraq.
