    Default Filter Cartridge storage question

I am considering replacing my aged and troublesome DE filter with a cartridge system, perhaps the Hayward C1200. I plan to purchase multiple cartridges, so I can always have a clean one in the filter.

Will there be any issue with storing an idle cart. in the pool shed? Will it "dry out" and go bad?

Thanks for any advice about this.

Store and allow them to dry out of the sun and you should have no problems.
