brown pool water

We just filled our pool (using well water) added the chemicals as directed and the water turned horribly brown. Is there a quick/cheap fix for this or is it better to drain the pool and have water hauled in

Hi mybus10 and welcome to the forum! We have had so many people this year on the forum with well water it is unbelievable! Is this a brand new pool? What kind of pool is it and what is the volume? Clearing it up is not quick nor easy. *If* having water trucked in is an option and not ridiculously expensive, that might be the fastest fix. But, make sure the source of water that will be trucked in is not well water!
