Default Intex 2650 sand filter or Hayward vl40t32????

Looking to add one of these sand filters to our pool. Intex 16'x48" Ultra Frame (5000 gallons).

    Here is the Hayward: http://www.poolproducts.com/SPP/prod...=AMAZON&FNM=92
    Here is the Intex: http://www.amazon.com/2650-Gallon-Sa...9396188&sr=8-3

Which filter would you guys recommend or a different one all together?
I am wanting to be able to run a vacuum as well, any recommendations on a decent one that would work with either of these filter systems?

    Thanks in advance,
    Greg

I don't have an experience with either of those, but I do have a G.A.M.E. Sand Pro 3/4 HP Sand Filter System that I'm in love with! It is absolutely easy peasy to set up and great at filtering the water without any issues. I have super bad iron in my water and this alone took care of my brown water, which is why I bought it because I read that sand filters are great for hard water.

    Good luck!

I forgot to mention that I have an Intex Easy Set 18'x48" 5500 gallon pool. My pump circulates 1/2 of the pool's water every hour

Can you run a vacuum off the G.A.M.E system?

Yup, I went with a surface skimmer for my pool and it makes it a lot easier to vacuum.

Just ordered the Intex. After doing some more research the Intex has been getting great reviews. I'll update after I get it and have used it for a while I will update.
