Any body out there install their own vinyl inground poo?
Hello, I am about to pull the trigger on the purchase of a 18x36 rectangle vinyl IG pool kit. I have done a lot of research on the kits and was wondering if any body has recomendations on a better company/ manufacture. I am leaning toward a cornerstone kit from pool warehouse almost the same as the hydra, pinnnacle brand. These kits have the polymer walls. Any input would be great. Thanks

We did it -- or maybe I should say are still doing it. Our pool is finished, but we still are trying to finish the deck around the pool.
We would be very happy to tell you about our mistakes in hopes that you can avoid those.
BTW, we are very happy with the polymer walls. Do be sure to caulk and tape them before you install the liner. Also, don't leave them out in the sun if you don't have to.
You're welcome to private email us. Joie
Hi and welcome to the forum! If you have any ?'s about how to install the pool, please feel free to contact me, I haven't quite reached the 1000 liner pools installed, but I'm closeI wish you the best on your new 'backyard addition"! Again, if I can be of help - just give a whistle.
Congrats on choosing the forum.

Having done construction and service for 4 pool companies in 4 states starting in 1988, what I know about pools could fill a couple of books - what I don't know could fill libraries
Thanks all for the response, I will be in touch. Any kit companies that people have had issue with and should be avoided? Chris
