    Default hth 60% but not poly

    Bought the wrong algea gaurd and wondering if it is useful at all. It is hth 60% but when I looked closer it is Alkyl based

    I found the labels.

    Asepsis / BioGuard / Recreational Water Products has always been 'on the dark side'. But unfortunately, in the last couple of years HTH has gone to the dark side, too, with misleading labels and the like.

    So, you're right -- it's a bad product. I'm going to have to revise my polyquat page!
