Default All other levels are good except total hardness

I am using test strips by fresh water for testing until I am able to order one of the kits recommended on here. According to the strip my Tbr (3ppm), FCI (3ppm), Alk (40ppm), and pH (7.2)are fine but my total hardness is still super hard. I have well water with lots of iron in it, I know my water is super hard, it's taken two weeks roughly to get my levels good and they are staying good so I assume since the only problem is the hardness, the pool is safe to swim in? Thanks for your help.

If the only problem is high CH, then there's no problem swimming. Is your chlorine level appropriate for your CYA level? (See the "best guess chart" link in my sig..)
