Default Hi First time to the forum. I do have an issue with my Zodiac LM3 15

Installed new in 07. Now I am not getting enough chlorine output. I am wondering if anyone knows what voltages I should be seeing at the cell. The best I get now is -3.7 on the red wire. 14.06 on the black wire and 2.01 on the blue wire. This was on super chlorinate. The 3rd and 4th led are sometimes lit. The fifth never. Thanks.

    Hi Honda,
Sorry, but this one is totally not my department. But, fortunately, there are many members on the forum who will hopefully know about your cell. Unfortunately, most of those people will not be able to view your post until your registration is totally completed and your post is moved out into the SWCG section of the forum. So, sit tight for a bit and hopefully help is just around the corner!

    Welcome to the Pool Forum!

Have you checked your salt level? The other possibility is that the cell needs to be replaced. Lifespan is usually around five years I think (depends on seasonal use, full time use etc.). I was having problems producing chlorine on my DuoClear unit last year (turned out to be a looming algae bloom that was consuming all my free chlorine) and when the Zodiac tech was at my house, he said if all lights could light up, the unit was fine and it was something else. If all lights couldn't light up there was a problem with unit or cell. In your case, since you can't get all lights lit up, it may be the unit/cell. Still I would check salt level of the water before I did anything else.

Thanks for the input. I think it is the power board along with the older cell. I just bought a Hayward off Ebay. 675.00 Seemed like a good price and I like the fact it has a box to protect it from the elements.
