    Yes. Continue adding it. You don't have to wait so long between additions of it. A couple hours to let it circulate and mix well and then you can test again and redose if needed. Hope the grandkids enjoyed the pool over the weekend!

    Thanks Watermom, I have learned so much here that I am just taking it slow...don't want to overshoot and have to add borax to get it back up. I'm also still not there with the CYA, added another sock yesterday. Yes, the grandkids had a great time! Thanks for all your advice.

    After three weeks, I think I'm there. Latest readings:
    FC: 3
    CC: .5 (turned a very light shade of pink, and 1 drop turned clear)
    CYA: 40
    PH: 7.5
    TA: 120
    And the water is sparkling clear!!!

    Your numbers look great. Be sure to keep the chlorine between 3-6 ALL the time. Now, go and enjoy your pool!
