    Default New to AG World

    Hello Everyone!

I知 new to the AGP world. I知 trying to learn as much as possible before getting started. The wife has been pushing me to get one for a while, now she has the daughter in-law and her sister pushing me. So I guess the decision has been made. lol

I plan on buying one off of Craigslist, so I will have a few questions I知 sure.

Nice to have a place that I can get information from others and get some questions answered.

    Two suggestions:

#1 - If you aren't that interested in the pools, you need to make them agree to learn & do the chemicals. You can do the install and physical cleaning (filter bw, etc.), but they have to do the chems. And, there is some learning to do, if you want it to be cheap and easy, and the water to be clear and blue. So, you need to make THEM register and learn. This is what I've always emphasized with commercial pools -- the folks who are AT the pool daily (lifeguards in my case) need to be the ones paying attention to the chemistry, not the facility manager off in an office somewhere.

#2 - Purely personal recommendation, but I'd be inclined to build a wooden fence and then limit their swimsuit choices to a couple of selected sites or catalogs.
Doing so might increase your interest in the pool.

    Ben
