I think you just need a little pop (pool owner patience) . A lot of times when you are getting rid of stains the pool turns cloudy - it is from all of the stuff used to remove the metals (sequestering agent) , and takes a while to filter out. It also can cause a chlorine demand, which I see you no longer have. I use the filter socks, and keep the pump running 24/7. The good news is that after this is finished, and the water is clear, you usually have no more problems if you keep up with the water. As soon as you notice some staining starting, add a little pink stuff - just the maintenance dose, and if it doesn't lift, then a little more, making sure that the ph is no higher than 7.2. You can swim as long as the chlorine is good for your cya. Good job, happy swimming.
