    Default lights

Wondering about the aftermarket lights. Looking at the over the side 50 watt or the 100 watt. Is 50 W enough or will the 100 W be too much? Just wondering.

    Thanks,

There's all kinds of lights. Too much light and the pool is no longer attractive.
If you have an AG pool there are some really nice systems that are low maintenance. IG is another story. My lights work from the outside. The lens pierces the pool wall and is sealed on the water side. The 12v lamp goes behind it outside. No electrical component goes in the water.

These days, 12 volt systems are available. I cannot recommend low voltage lighting strongly enough. In case something goes wrong, it's not deadly. Full voltage can be, even with ground-faulting, which is code.
