Default tiny leaf particles in pool

what is the best way to remove tiny leaf particles from pool that came with house. They move around too much to vacuum up, and settle to the bottom too quickly for the skimmer to get them.

Actually, Watermom, if she's having a hard time vacuuming them, they may well go through her skimmer net.

Ron/Robyn, if you have the right vac head and use the right techique, you can vacuum anything, no matter how fine. What sort of pool do you have, and how are you vacuuming?

floating around too much is correct. But, after 8 days of spending 2 hours at a time of vacuuming, I am finally starting to see some lessening of the leaf particles. Thank you for your help and I am looking forward to learning all about the BBB pool method.

When I get loads of sand and/or leaves, I jump in with the hose/vacuum head, and chase all the leaves; do the same with bugs! (after making sure skimmer basket is in place!) it's easier from in the pool sometimes- vacuum around steps, as I get in, then S-L-O-W-L-Y mover around with the vacuum...
