Hello everyone,
Recently I've noticed a large build up of what I've been told is hard water on the surface of the tile lining my pool. After talking to a cleaning service they informed me that the bill would total around a thousand dollars. Given that piece of news, I'm interested in a more do-it-yourself approach and turn to this forum for some assistance. I'd prefer not to drain the pool, so the suggestions would be something that doesn't damage the filter system. Attached pictures below:

Additionally, one of the tiles has fallen off. It is my guess that the tile was accidentally picked up by the team that is responsible for maintaining the pool floor. I was wondering, assuming I can find the appropriate tile how difficult the repair would be. Attached picture below:
