Also all the other abbreveations de,cc,tc,cya,and so forth can you explain as i think i got all but de? Also my test kit should be in in a day or so what is perfect water ? Thanks ahead of time 21 round 52" deep 250# filter with a recent sand change,liner happy bottom and wall pad 5th year wanted to start new with a better liner am going to try this bbb method but would like to know terms as i go forth thanks!

DE is Diatomaceous Earth (Probably spelled it wrong). It is tiny skeletons of microscopic organisms that looks like a fine, white powder, almost like powdered sugar. It's a filtering medium used in (naturally) DE filter . . . .
