Default drainage for AGP (with pics)

I wanted to dig out the high side of my yard to get the pool level. I had to dig pretty deep and exposed some underground water that percolated up and caused a very wet area. I wanted to prevent underground water from traveling under the pool so I dug a trench around the pool and put in a french drain system (see pics).

Could this trench weaken the foundation of the pool over time and possibly colapse a portion of it? As you can see I have covered the trench with crushed stone-landscaping fabric-dirt. The trench is about 7-8 inches at it's deepest.

not likely to weaken the pool- your house probably has a similar drain around the foundation! the crushed stone prevents erosion...
