    also, the aeration will increase your pH, so don't add to much borax- I'd adjust pH to 7.2, and let it creep up on its own with the aeration...

    I would check the stabilizer level, just to be sure it isn't too high. Let us know the number.

    CYA looks to be slighty less than 30. Black dot doesn't disappear at 30 but it does when tube is full, which is just a little more.

    if you added enough stabilizer for 30ppm, just leave it to keep dissolving; if you think you added to much, you can take out the sock then measure CYA in a few days, and add it back later if needed...
    the aeration is going to increase your pH, so I'd leave that alone for now; be ready to add acid later to keep it <7.8...
    If your water is cloudy, maintain shock level of FC as if the CYA was completely dissolved- IOW, if you added 30ppm CYA, then use 30ppm CYA to determine your shock level even if it doesn't show up on your test yet...
