    Yes, this is an okay way to get stabilizer in the water, especially if you're going to need to backwash your filter before it all dissolves. CYA does take a few days to dissolve, so if you can encourage it by giving the knee high a squeeze occasionally, it may help speed it up.

    Don't know where my post went that I added a half hour or so ago???? hmmm

    At any rate, as long as you don't have CYA granules sitting on your liner, you are ok. If you do, vaccuum them up and let them dissolve in the filter. You do not want CYA sitting on the liner since it is an acid.
