Now we can't have people going nuts around hereso somebody who knows about these heaters needs to pop in here with some advice! Good to see you back around here this season, CB!
No advice on my last heater question. I'll try again. Anyone have any experience with a natural gas Pentair MasterTemp heater? I need to replace my Hayward H200 or go nuts. Thanks

Hey CB, good to see you around!
I'm not very familiar with Pentair heaters, but they acquired Sta-Rite (which I've worked on for years) and have very similar innards.
Going from my Sta-Rite experience, the biggest issue was mice nesting in them and chewing the wires (the Pentairs have a much less 'mice friendly' set up). The second biggie was heat exchangers rotting out from the pool water being acidic - not an issue for you as a tried and true BBBer.
May I ask why the Hayward heater is gonna drive you nuts? (new heaters are expensive and usually require some sort of replumbing - if you can keep the old one going, you could save some coin)
