    Default Iron Stains

Was blowing my landscaping and blew a little fertilizer into my pool (dumb move fertilizing before cleaning the yard ) .. and now I have 2 little stains that I assume are from the iron in the fertilizer. Small spots about the size of a quarter each that look like rust.

How do i remove? I think I remember someone saying something about placing a vitamin tablet on them ???? Or am I whacked

Are there ascorbic acid tablets you can use to spot treat small stains? I've got 3 on the bottom of my pool that are probably a bit smaller. I've been putting off treating the pool because dropping the chlorine to 0 and dealing with ascorbic treatment seems like a HUGE project that I didn't think was worth it for a few small spots.

Thanks for posting the thread, anyway... guess it's time to get my google on.

Do I set the tablet on the stain and let it dissolve or use it to scrub the stain?
