    Default automatic control of SWG?

Hi, this is a newbie question:

Are there SWG's that can be automatically controlled to a desired chlorine level?

I currently use a Liquidator, and am thinking about switching to a SWG, but I'm wondering if I'll get any better control than my liquidator...

My ideal solution would be to set a desired PPM!

Thank you in advance - Matt

Sorry...a bit of searching = aqua rite pro with aql-chem / sense & dispense option seems like what I'm looking for.

Anyone have good/bad experiences with the sense & dispense option?

    Thank you -

It still won't eliminate water testing if that is what you are trying to do. As far as it goes, once a SWCG is set properly the FC stays pretty constant as long as the water parameters ( pH, TA, salt level, CYA) are kept fairly constant. ORP control will not really make that much of a change and pH can be kept under control fairly easily by keeping the TA low and adding borates to 50 ppm. Using ORP and pH controllers just introduces new headaches, IMHO, since they will need to be checked and calibrated and the electrodes replaces on a regular basis. You are really ADDING additonal maintenance to the system, IMHO.
