    Default Return line

One of my return lines sometimes blows out tiny bubbles. I don't know if air is getting in when I clean the skimmer, or from the polaris or what. Is this normal or should I have someone look at it?

Do you have a SWG? Mine does this after the SWG is on.

Yes I have a Aquarite SWG. Will the air bubbles hurt anything?

SWG bubbles won't hurt anything. I believe its hydorgen from the process of making chlorine.

Well mine always has tiny air bubbles in the return but thats due to my triopure ozonator.

Does your filter have air in it? Mine has a trap with a clear cover just before the filter and if I get air in the system it shows up here.

I doubt you could intruduce air on the pressure side so I'd check your O-rings around the filter.

A suction side cleaner like the polaris will easilly introduce air to the system if you dont get all the air out of the hose first.

Probably the most common cause of return bubbles is a loose pump strainer basket lid or a bad O-ring on that lid.
