Wondering if I can install and aquador on my skimmer and get by with out lowering the water level below the skimmer? Do I need to take out the return and put a plug in?
    Thanks

Do you already have the receiving faceplate installed on the skimmer?

If not, you might be able to change it out without loosing too much water, it'd help to have someone hold the skimmer in place while you switched the faceplates. At worst, you'd loose water to the bottom of the skimmer, but you'll be able close in the coming years without draining any water

DO plug the return and disconnect the hoses. Drain, and if possible store all the equipment inside - or at least cover the pump and filter (it will help them last a little longer)

I lower the water anyway and then install the Aquador. I figure rain will fill the pool, and it does.
