    Default New Filter

We have installed a hayward S180T filter and have a powerline 1 1/2 pump. It seems that not enough water is getting into the filter as you can hear the water sloshing in there. We also have a main drain set to 50/50. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I suggested to hubby to bypass main drain and connect skimmer hose of pump and see what happens. Do you have any suggestions? thanks

Never mind, we bypassed the main drain because I heard sucking in connection and the filter is working perfectly. Thanks

    Hi Sue,
    Glad it was that easy!!

Just wanted to let you know you were not being ignored--I just don't have any experience with main drains, as I don't have one!

Glad you got it figured out, though.
