Either the filter is congested or there is an obstruction in the suction line. At least that's my first and best guessAlso check the wtrer level and skimmer weir.
After searching through the posts, I'm not seeing this specific problem, which is: at startup the pool pressure gauge showed normal pressure, and there were no bubbles from our returns. Now we're seeing large bubbles from one return, tiny ones from the other (closer) return, and the pressure gauge has dropped significantly. I've replaced the pump basket O-ring, and tightened all the fittings and various plugs. No change. Any ideas as to what to check now? By the way our pool was just remodeled, and has a new skimmer. The water level is not dropping either. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - I also found a post that talked about the impeller being "clogged" so we just unclogged it and - miracle! - both the bubbles are gone and the pressure is normal. I love this Pool Forum :-)
