Thumbs up Home from vacation & pool is clear!

Well, we made it home from vacation yesterday. In spite of the pool cover somehow falling into the pool and spending most of the week at the bottom of the pool, the pool is clear! We added some polyquat and shocked before we left, and had Matt's parents stop by midweek and add more bleach to shock again. The FC was basically zero upon our return, but DH Matt added bleach to shock level. We tested the FC two hours later & it was 13.5. We'll see how much it has dropped in the morning. Anyway, thanks so much for all the help getting through our vacation!

Good Job! Remember that PolyQuat DOES drop your FC when applied and you need to add more bleach 24-48 hours after adding the PQ. But it probably prevented algae from starting so it did its job.

That's great! After it's shocked once just to catch anything that may be trying to start, you should be good to go
