    Default chemical levels seem ok?

    Hi I have also purchased the TF-100 test kit. I would like to know if my chemical levels seem about right

    FC - 3.5
    CC - .5
    TC - 4
    pH - 7.5
    T/A - 100
    CYA - 40

    Pool Size - 6000 gallons
    Filter - Cartridge
    Above Ground Pool
    Vinyl

    Yes. Everything looks ok. You do want to keep your chlorine level between 3-6 ALL the time with a CYA reading of 40. Also, if your CC level increases any higher than 0.5, you'll want to shock the pool, which for CYA of 40 would be 15. Your pH and alk are perfect! Good job.
