    Default Should I upgrade?

    Hello all,
I few years ago I bought from Ben a PS232 test kit.....and last year, or the year before I bought some refill supplies. All supplies seem to still be good and in good supply.

I like my "old" PS232 because of the big tester that came with it that I don't believe comes with the newer kits. I kinda think i have the best of both worlds having the older kit and the newer refill supplies.

My question is......how will the new PS 234 be different or better?
Do I need, or could benefit from the PS234S if I don't use or do anything with salt right now?

The price for this new kit is very reasonable, and I do wish to stay current here. If the old PS232 is no longer supported, I have no problem upgrading, I guess I'm just asking for some valid reasons to do so, seeing that I could most likely easily get by with what I have for the next year or two.

My wife may think I'm a bit nuts having TWO fancy test kits....but hey, I love new toys.....

    Respectfully, Frank D.

No one has responded to this, so I'll bump it up and also ask.....

My PS232 testkit is still working fine this year.......I just did my first test the other day.......so I was wondering, how long will Ben be so gracious as to offer existing kit owners that "upgrade" price on the new PS234's.....?
If it is a temporary offer, I will order it soon. If not, I'm thinking perhaps just paying my dues and waiting to upgrade later, since my PS232 is working well, and I bought refill kits not too long ago.

    Respectfully,
    Frank D.

    Thank you Evan.
I appreciate the help. That thread answered many of my questions.
The only thing I still don't know and would like to is how long Ben will be offering that "upgrade price" for these new kits.
I do not mind upgrading now to the PS234, but my PS232 is working fine and I bought refills for it not too long ago.....(I think last year around this time).

    Thanks,
    Frank D.

Frank, I have the PS233 kit, and like you I bought some refills last year. But i went ahead and bought the new 244. Figured it (with the discount) it was about the price of some refills. So I get alot more then just refills for the price of a refill.
